One of our favourite winter wedding venues is a hidden beauty in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. The Myer Mural Hall, located on bustling Bourke Street is a serene retreat from city life and the CBD's only heritage listed Art Deco venue.
As the winter chill started to set in, we headed off to Bali for the wedding of the year and to celebrate the union of Hugo and Ainslie. Bali enjoys a temperate and humid climate all year round and this trip was no exception. The wedding day was 27 degrees and on a humid Balinese evening, the bride and groom declared their everlasting love in front of 50 family and friends at The Sanctuary in Canggu. The reception followed and we had the all important job of providing music for the party which included a smorgasbord of local seafood and an amazing assortment of satay. The Bintang was flowing and the dance floor was up and about from the get go, finally finishing at around 11.30pm. The staff, guests and everyone involved was so welcoming and friendly and it was an absolute honour to be part of this very special couple’s big day in the beautiful destination of Canggu, Bali.
Tropical House is more commonly known as Trop House and is the kind of music you'd expect to hear at a pool party on a hot summer night all the while sipping chilled Mojitos.
